Transcend Mundane Consciousness

Mundane Consciousness:

Doors Of Perception:

The 'Doors of Perception' is a 1954 book by Aldous Huxley, the term of which is used here to mean the perceptive sensory apparatus of the five senses, plus extra sensory perception such as intuition, clairvoyance, synchronicity or psychic healing.

Sensory Apparatus:

Everyone possesses a same or similar sensory apparatus capable of sensing in an exact or fairly similar way. The experience of rain, snow, high heat or swimming in an ocean is fairly the same for everyone, although people may have differing ranges of sensitivity, such as some can withstand cold temperatures better than others.

Interpretation:

While everyone possesses a same or similar Sensory Apparatus, such that what is sensed is fairly similar, reactions of two or more people to the same stimulus can be quite diverse. One person will be unfazed by a close encounter with a wild mountain lion, while another may run in terror. The reason for this is Interpretation. Everyone may perceive in a same or similar fashion, but everyone is capable of different interpretations as individual conditioning, adoption from others, and personal assessment. This means that different people attach different Associations from the memory, to the same stimuli in the external environment or thinking. Upon seeing or thinking spider, the average person might associate fear laden images, whereas an arachnologist might associate beauty.

Consequence:

What most determines the differences in Interpretation affecting sensory response, proceeds from what the individual considers to be of Consequence. If a person dies, the reaction of those learning the news will accord to the Consequence the diseased held for them, such as father or good friend as compared to stranger.
