A third entity of the rubric Null would be called
Metaphoria, as an alternative to Spirituality and Religion, although Metaphoria would
be closely related to Spiritual precepts. The premises of Metaphoria would include other-dimensional realm or realms: co-existence with the natural material world and other-dimensional entities called Spirit: wherein other-dimensional phenomenon possess capability of affecting the natural physical world; and that some or specific other-dimensional generated affects can be interpreted as communication called Semiotic Language.
Accepting other-dimensionality, changes the nature of meaning and what things mean. More than this life - means probably a retrospective and a transcendent perspective from which to evaluate judge this life. Time dimensionality becomes expanded, which would affect then the meaning of the present, indicative of longer term implications. An after-life would propound greater Consequence for this the present and perhaps accountability. It would indicate that one is more than one could prove in the here and now.
On the other hand if life beyond this were a certainty then
this life would become more or less abstract and not so much taken seriously, since what matter-this so-much, if another life is to come.
So perhaps we have to split it down the middle as seriously more and seriously less meaning.
Life's objectives are controlled by the mind, and can to a greater or lesser degree, be managed with consistency, as college, career, marriage, children and retirement. But it is also true that the mind cannot always predict nor control the future, such as unexpected life disrupters like fire, flood, illness, misfortune or fortune. If the mind cannot foresee the future, then how does one make decisions concerning one's destiny ? It might be proposed then, that other-dimensional agencies may possess future fore-knowledge or may possess specific objectives concerning one's personal destiny.
