Of those today who call themselves Conservative, one would be hard pressed indeed to find one who would turn down the greater and progressive accumulation of more and more money, property and volitional abilities. The
term conservative has been co-opted to serve the ambitions of Progressive Materialism.
The most conservative of human living standards limits change to Necessity & Subsistence, in which human created change is limited in its impact of pre-existent environments. Conditions changed, to promote particular human improvements, regardless of the consequences to the former state changed, as water sheds are developed into industrial parks, regardless of the affect upon the pre-existing environment, is termed Progressive. Progression is based on Excess & Profit.
The natural world could be called Socialist, in that the natural world is non-profit, possesses no private property, maintains itself in a same or similar condition and is equally serviceable to all.
