Authority Reasoning means there is no reasoning, but only the acceptance of what authority says and perhaps does, but since authority often does not do what it says - just says. Do as we say not as we do. Thus in the absence of reasoning the conclusion proceeds the problem. For some the Bible answers every question, which is in the realm of Context or written authority, as opposed to the authority of Condition, like in nature the storm approaches. Many authorities hide behind complexity, and simple people rely on the authority of the expertise of complexity, which is external to their own experiential education or
Internal Authority.
External Authority
Authority Reasoning is based on what is called
External Authority in which the individual thinks, acts and operates based on the Context of external sources independent of personal experience and first-hand
self-deciding. External Authority includes books, films, theater, literature, television, internet, word of mouth or any information gained in the abstract and not of personal
empirical experience. I'll take your word for it. Of course External Authority is the only way much information is to be gained. In such cases one should have enough personal experience to be able to render External Authority credible or not.
Emotion
Emotion is defined as distinct from Natural Affection, and is derived from Context as memory and mind. Emotion is defined as Association contained of
Consequential Value, which is associated or attached to any given present circumstance or thinking, and which often exaggerates the sensory response, since consequence is involved and the greater the Consequence the greater the emotional response. When my mother dies it is emotional. When your mother dies, not so much.
